the sustainability of Stanford University. Our projects reduce energy, water, and paper use, promote purchasing of
organic and local foods, and greatly influence Stanford's use of natural

Conservation Cup results
Congratulations to the winners of the 2008 Conservation Cup! These
residences reduced their energy and water use by at least 10% from
last year.

that have maintained the absolute lowest energy and water use,

($0.55/student/day)

Recyclemania:
From January to April 2008, Stanford participated in the annual national
Recyclemania competition. Results are now in: Stanford beat
Harvard to win first place in the Gorilla Prize category
measuring total recycled material! For more information (including
