News

Read all about it: in this section we have gathered a selection of articles to document the press that Students for a Sustainable Stanford has received during the course of its existence. Many of the articles describe the accomplishments of the group, and some of them are op-eds or other campaign-related pieces that give a sense of our Organization's strategies to inspire change and take action. // news /

When Students for a Sustainable Stanford plans an event, challenges the University to take action, inspires leadership within the student body, and takes on the major task of promoting sustainability on this campus, we often rely on the media to help carry our message widely. Thus we have appeared several times within the Stanford Daily, the major University newspaper read by a large portion of the student body, and have also been featured in media targeted toward a broader audience. Occasionally, we also post our own press releases and other material geared toward journalists in the area. Please check back often to keep abreast of our activities, and to see whether any news worth publishing has been posted. News items are arranged with most recent articles at the top.
