The 2005
Great Annual Stanford Energy Bowl
and Water Derby has come to a close!
|
 |
“WHO WON?” |
|
Over
the last two months, six residences have been competing to conserve
the most water and electricity. The winners were promised travel mugs,
coupons to Tresidder, bragging rights, and a trophy plaque. |
|
The
combined reduction in electricity consumption for all the dorms over
the same period last year was
16,800 KwH. This equates to the reduction of
22,700 pounds of carbon
dioxide emissions. The combined reduction in water is
49,500 gallons. |
