Congratulations to the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability class of 2026!
The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability diploma ceremony will take place Saturday, June 13, 2026 from noon to 2:00 p.m. PDT at Alumni Lawn near the Li Ka Shing Center (LKSC). The ceremony includes students graduating with degrees in Earth and Planetary Sciences, Earth Systems, Earth System Science, Energy Science and Engineering, Environment and Resources, Geophysics, and Sustainability Science and Practice.
The Civil and Environmental Engineering ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium, 551 Jane Stanford Way.

| IMPORTANT | NOTE: THE 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP MATCHES BEGIN JUNE 13. The San Francisco Bay Area will host six World Cup matches at nearby Levi Stadium in Santa Clara. One of these matches will coincide with Commencement Weekend. For families visiting from outside the Bay Area, please consider booking your hotel accommodations as soon as possible. Tickets/RSVP | Tickets are not required for the Doerr School ceremony. There is no limit on the number of guests. Students must notify their department/program if they intend to participate in the Doerr School ceremony. Look for more information from your degree program. |
Parking | Campus parking is free on weekends. The closest parking garage is the Roth Way Garage (345 Campus Drive, Stanford, CA 94305). |
Seating | Seating will open at 11:00 a.m. for those who arrive early to select their seats. Personal items should not be left on the seats, as no security will be available. The school reserves seats in advance only for guests in wheelchairs or who need special access at the ceremony. |
Accommodation requests | Accessibility accommodations for the Doerr School ceremony should be submitted by the graduating student to Lauren Mendoza-Tabinas by May 13, 2026. For accommodations at the main stadium ceremony and other Commencement Weekend events, visit the Stanford Commencement website. Wheelchairs and other assistive devices are not available on-site during Commencement Weekend. If you or a family member require a mobility device, we encourage you to make arrangements in advance. |
Photography | Following the ceremony, photo proofs of students receiving their diplomas will be sent from GradImages to the student's Stanford email. |
Animals | Please note that the University restricts pets and emotional support animals from public spaces on campus, with the exception of service animals that are specifically trained to perform a service and/or task for an individual with a disability. |
