Big Ideas featuring architect Jeanne Gang
Join us for a Big Ideas in Sustainability event featuring Jeanne Gang, founding partner of international architecture and urban design practice Studio Gang, beginning at 3:30 p.m. PDT on Jan. 16, 2025.
Please join us for a fireside chat with Jeanne Gang, founding partner of international architecture and urban design practice Studio Gang, in conversation with Sarah Billington, UPS Foundation Professor and chair of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Stanford University.

Studio Gang is designing the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability’s Sustainability Commons, new buildings and a series of outdoor spaces that will become the home for Stanford’s first new school in 75 years. Known for a design process that emphasizes research, experimentation, and collaboration inside and outside of traditional design fields, Studio Gang creates places that bring about measurable positive change for their users, communities, and natural environment – a mission they refer to as “actionable idealism.”
This event takes place at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Hauck Auditorium in the David & Joan Traitel Building, 435 Lasuen Mall.
