Jorgina Cruz

Jorgina Cruz (she/her) is a program coordinator for the Doerr School Access, Belonging, and Community office where she helps the team coordinate events related to NSF-SURGE program, as well as Doerr School recruitment and belonging programming. She also covers the administrative, financial, and scheduling operations of the office.  

Jorgina is a Bay Area native, born and raised in Milpitas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Creative Writing and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Higher Education Policy from San Francisco State University. Before joining SDSS, Jorgina worked as the Alumni Relations Events Planner at Stanford Law School, where she oversaw the planning of Reunions Weekend and other events aimed at fostering relationships among SLS alumni. Prior to that, she worked in the Division of Graduate Studies and Career Development at her alma mater, where she gained experience supporting students and alumni in their academic and professional journeys.
