Tina Wu, PhD

Dr. Tina Wu holds a BS in Microbiology from Iowa State University and a PhD in Plant Pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With her experiences in research, scientific teaching, and outreach, Tina is committed to expanding access and advancing inclusive and equitable pathways for students pursuing higher education in STEM. Prior to joining Stanford, Tina served as the University Relations Coordinator with the National Society of MANRRS, where she oversaw recruitment and chapter development. At the Doerr School of Sustainability, Tina's role focuses on advancing recruitment initiatives, university partnerships, and directing the NSF-Research Experience for Undergraduates program, SURGE (Sustainability Undergraduate Research in Geoscience and Engineering).
